In October 1949, as the District Nursing Association celebrated its 50th anniversary, numerous celebrations were held throughout the city. One highlight was a talk given by a notable nurse, who addressed the community about the health care advancements that had been made over the past 50 years. Not sure who it was? Be sure to check out our most recent historical video to uncover the answer!📽 If you do know, be sure to drop the answer in the comments below. #LegacyofCare #GraniteVNA125 #TriviaTuesday

Check out these tips for carrying on a conversation with someone who has developed hearing loss. If you or someone you love is experiencing hearing loss, it's important to schedule a hearing exam to mitigate other associated health risks. #HearingLoss #SLPMonth

Laurel pursued numerous careers over the years, but found #nursing to be the best fit. Laurel has worked in home care for more than three decades and adores her team here at Granite VNA. The support of her supervisor and her peers, the sharing of ideas, and the educational opportunities have made Granite VNA her favorite agency experience. She loves her role as a caregiver, but what she enjoys most about home care nursing is having the opportunity to get to know her patients by listening to their stories. Thank you, Laurel, for being such a wonderful and caring member of our home care team! #NursesMonth #HomeCare #HomeCareNurse
