Lynn Journal reporter, Cary Shuman, featured our very own Mary Anne McGuirk Center Manager and fellow client, at the 62 Market St. Lynn, MA location in an informative and inspiring article about the care provided. Barbara Pramataris, 64, Lynn MA shared she wouldn't be alive without the people at Market St. Dr. Liu visited her in her home concluding she needed emergency care immediately. "She stayed with me," Pramataris said, when she was taken by ambulance resulting in a six-month rehab stay. " I'm actually blessed." At age 44, Mary Anne returned to college to earn a Social Work Degree after many years working with older adults in the healthcare field. "I always say that Element Care Pace is like having all the same people who would live in the nursing home, but they're in a community. You never have to feel like you are totally responsible for everything or you're alone. " In fact Element Care PACE consists of a Primary Care Physician, Nurse Practitioner, Registered Nurse, Medical Assistant, Social Worker, Behavioral Health, Dietician, Activity Professionals, Physical, Occupational & Speech Therapists, Palliative Care and together became Barbara's personal medical team.
