🎀 ✂ 🏥 It's ribbon cutting day for our friends at Gundersen Tri-County and we couldn't be more excited! “Today, we are here to dedicate this building constructed of steel, concrete and glass – its heart, its essence, its purpose are its people,” Tri-County Administrator Joni Olson says. “The opening of this hospital represents a new chapter and a proud legacy of caring for our patients and local communities.” #loveplusmedicine #ruralhealth Emplify Health

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there! Gundersen is lucky to have several mother/daughter teams in our family, including Carlye Hart (Guzman), RN, and her mother, Peggy Guzman, RN. This year, Carlye planned a special surprise for her mother (and colleague!) for Mother's Day. Check it out - you'll love the heart-warming response ❤️ "My mom is my best friend. I am inspired daily by her strength, wisdom, and selflessness. My mom has been a nurse at Gundersen for over 40 years and inspired me to become a nurse. She always encouraged me to do what I love, and to work hard at it. I am blessed this year to be celebrating Nurse's Week and Mother's Day at the same hospital!" -Carlye Hart #loveplusmedicine #nursingcareers #mothersday

As Gundersen’s Biomed supervisor, Darren fixes and provides maintenance to hospital equipment ⚙ on a daily basis, including the Panda Warmers that provide critical support to our tiniest and most vulnerable of patients. But little did he know—and in a true full-circle moment—his future daughter, 👶 Dakota, would also receive life-saving support from the same Panda Warmers his own hands had touched and carefully maintained. Check out the story here ➡ https://lnkd.in/g6Zuwx6h The addition of this Panda Machine in our ER was made possible thanks to funding from the Children's Miracle Network. #loveplusmedicine

Sometimes, in our darkest moments, we find the brightest lights. 💔➡️💡 One of our very own nurses experienced unimaginable loss when her son was taken too soon. Through their pain, they discovered he had the power to bring life to others. 💙 They have shared their journey to remind us of the impact one person can make by choosing to be an organ donor.
