5/8/2024: According to recent data from the CDC, it is estimated more than 100,000 people died of drug overdoses between June 2022 and June 2023, (more than 20% over the previous year). The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s 2022 National Survey on Drug Use & Health revealed that
48 million people reported suffering from substance use disorder, but despite the need for services, only about 24% of people needing treatment actually received it. SEE ARTICLE
