Temecula Valley Hospital had an exciting day of evacuation training led by their Plant Operations Director, Kyle Houraney, CHEP! #TeamTVH practiced using Med-Sleds and stair chairs to ensure they're ready to keep everyone safe during emergencies like fires, power outages, and earthquakes. The training was both educational and fun, as staff learned how to smoothly transport patients—both those who can walk and those who need assistance—from their rooms to the stairwells and safely down the stairs. This hands-on experience is just one of the many ways TVH is committed to the safety and well-being of patients and staff. It’s all about being prepared and working together as a team to handle any situation that comes their way! #EmergencyPreparedness #EvacuaitonTraining #SafetyFirst #PatientSafety #TeamTVH

Palmdale Regional Medical Center sponsored a team for the WE (Women Empowerment) Build event for a veteran neighborhood in Palmdale hosted by the organization, Homes4Families. Homes4Families was founded in 2008 and exists to meet the significant need for affordable housing and effective, no-cost services that equip veteran families to move up the economic ladder. With the support of CalVet and generous corporate sponsors and individual donors, they have helped thus far 168 low-income veterans and military families achieve safe, affordable homeownership. One of the neighborhoods is right here in Palmdale! PRMC were painters, and had a blast! A big thank you to our team who showed up and made it happen!
