Our company was fortunate to host our local New Castle Henry County Economic Dev. Corp. (Indiana) members this morning. A big thanks to Corey Murphy, Penny York, and Wes Brown, CEcD for taking time out of their busy schedules to tour our new production and distribution center here in New Castle!

Our marketing team is at it again!

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of the matriarch of Jack’s Donuts, Ada Marcum. Ada and her late husband, Jack Marcum Sr., opened the first Jack’s Donuts location in New Castle, IN. on April 1st, 1961. Ada is the mother of second-generation owner Jack Marcum Jr. and grandmother of current Chief Executive Officer Lee Marcum and Chief Operating Officer Austin Marcum. Over the last 60+ years, Ada had a front-row seat to the growth of Jack’s Donuts. She was our company’s biggest fan up until the end. The Marcum, Owens, Imel, and Butler families mourn her loss but are thankful for every moment we were lucky enough to share with our “Grams.” #jacksdonuts #familyowned

We are thrilled and proud to announce the grand opening of the very first Jack’s Donuts Production and Distribution Center! At Jack's, we're taking a leap forward to enhance our commitment to delivering quality, and consistency. Our state-of-the-art facility is now fully operational, and equipped to meet the growing demand from our customers. This marks a significant milestone in our journey, allowing us to bring the joy of Jack's Donuts to even more communities. We want to say a heartfelt thank you to our incredible team, our investors, and our loyal customers for making this expansion possible. We can't wait to continue spreading smiles!

We are excited to announce our first partnership with a professional athlete, T.J. McConnell of the Indiana Pacers! If you’re a Pacer fan, you know that he is a coffee fanatic and has to have a cup before every game. A Jack's Donuts and T.J. McConnell coffee collaboration felt like a natural fit!   Because T.J. is an avid coffee drinker, we wanted him to select his own roast. We had a blast with him at Julian Coffee Roasters in Zionsville, where we took a tour of their facility, learned about their roasting processes, and sampled different coffees. T.J. landed on a light/medium roast that we have named T.J. McConnell’s Breakaway Blend.  We wanted this collaboration to be beneficial to the community, so we asked T.J. to choose a local charity to donate the profits to. Being a father, he has a huge heart for children and families, and he chose to donate the profits to Firefly Children and Family Alliance. This organization empowers Hoosiers through a wide range of support programs and resources that are designed to give parents, children, and individuals everything they need to live successfully.   Bags and single-serving cups of the Breakaway Blend are available at Jack’s Donuts stores for a limited time! 

We want to take a moment to acknowledge the passing of Jack’s Donuts of Greenfield franchisee, Ron Youngclaus. Ron, along with his wife, Shawn, opened our company's third location in Greenfield, IN. in September of 2013. While Ron's health had been declining the last few years, he still did everything in his power to continue to have as much of a hands-on approach to their business as much as possible. We mourn the loss of Ron and offer our condolences to the entire Younglaus & Roseman families. We thank Ron for his contributions to our company as well as his friendship with everyone at our corporate office. He will be sorely missed.
