This month we welcome Dominion Energy Utah, Idaho and Wyoming to Enbridge, who will now do business locally as Enbridge Gas.
It’s an exciting moment for all of us - we are welcoming Dominion Energy Utah, Idaho and Wyoming to Enbridge, who will now do business locally as Enbridge Gas. In September 2023, Enbridge Inc. announced a plan to purchase three U.S.-based natural gas utilities, which collectively provide natural gas service to approximately three million customers in Utah, Wyoming, Idaho, North Carolina and Ohio. Utah, Idaho and Wyoming have now joined us, so tomorrow is on! (Ohio joined us a few months back.) Along with Enbridge Gas in Ontario, we now serve 6.3 million customers collectively. “All of us are committed to providing the energy people need to live their lives now and in the future. We are excited about the future of natural gas in North America as a secure, reliable, and affordable energy choice to meet the needs of families, businesses, and industry today,” said Michele Harradence, president of Enbridge Gas Inc., which is based in Ontario. As part of this integration, we will be posting Utah, Wyoming and Idaho stories on this LinkedIn site. We will work hard to ensure LinkedIn readers learn about all of our utilities. A single mother of five children would not have been able to receive her diploma from Kishwaukee College and pursue her career in welding if it weren’t for the college’s scholarship program. Enbridge is proud to support the scholarship program through our #ENBFuelingFutures grant, which enables students who may not be able to complete their education without this financial aid. This means more students have access to the college’s welding program, fueling the pipeline of talent into the trades industry.

Enbridge is helping to power the future, one ray at a time! We’re celebrating the grand opening of Fox Squirrel Solar – our first solar project in Ohio. Together with EDF Renewables North America, we've announced that Amazon has agreed to purchase the energy produced at Fox Squirrel Solar, which will help contribute to Amazon’s commitment to match all of the electricity used by its operations with 100% renewable energy by 2030. This is just one example of Enbridge stepping up to meet the challenges of today, for tomorrow.
