We believe that when a girl knows her worth, it will literally transform her entire life! Her academics, goals, relationships, health, and everyday life decisions will be impacted by the power of knowing this dynamic truth. Through long-lasting mentorship, advocacy, assistance with basic emergency needs, and provision of trauma-informed therapeutic services, Daughters of Worth is committed to empowering her to create the tomorrow of her dreams! We believe that every girl needs a tribe of women to love, support, and encourage her through her journey. At Daughters of Worth, the girls of our communities are finding their tribe, a safe haven of support. Her story is our passion. Her future is our mission. We exist Because She Matters. Daughters of Worth serves girls (elementary - high school) through GLAM Girls, Girls Living a Mission, school based mentorship and girl empowerment program. Young ladies between the ages of 18-25 are served through Girls of Independence. Through this initiative, young ladies are provided with a personal mentor, advocacy, emergency services support, trauma-informed therapeutic services (upon request), referrals to partnering agencies, personalized coaching sessions, and special events. Celebrations occur each quarter as young ladies are recognized and awarded for achieving their self-identified, personal goals towards success. Recognizing that there is a substantial need for women who are victims of trafficking to have access to safety, shelter, basic living essentials, trauma-informed therapeutic services, support groups, case management, legal services, referrals to partnering organizations (including health care), and care coordination for those needing immediate relocation services, Daughters of Worth now offers our newest program, Women of Freedom, serving girls, young ladies, and women of all ages whom are victims/survivors of human trafficking.
