The Greene County Partnership’s annual Iris Festival was created in 1994 and has become the community’s major festival of the year, featuring arts, crafts, merchandise, food, and entertainment from across the region.

The 2025 Iris Festival is presented by the Greene County Partnership and will be held in Downtown Greeneville, Tennessee on Saturday, May 17th and Sunday, May 18th.

FESTIVAL HOURS 
Saturday 10AM-5PM
Sunday 12PM-5PM 

Kick off Iris Festival weekend with Keep Greene Beautiful's Annual 3 Mile Walk/Run. This course runs through the heart of historic downtown Greeneville, the second oldest town in Tennessee, passing the Home of President Andrew Johnson, Historic General Morgan Inn, Greeneville Town Hall, State of Franklin’s Capitol and the Greene County Courthouse.
 

The race begins and ends at First Baptist Church. Check in is 7:30-8:00am in the parking lot. The group rate is $20 per person for 5 or more walkers and $25 per person for individuals/groups with less than 5.  The student rate is for 18 years and younger.  Awards for the first place winner in each age group. 
 

Age groups- 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and up.

On May 17th, 2025 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, Sundown on Depot will return to Greeneville, Tennessee for its 9th year! In 2022, we had over 600 cars lining Main Street and donated $13,000 to Holston United Methodist Home for Children.
