Some of our St. Louis Support Center Team Members were happy to participate in this year's Biz-Dash 5K hosted by the St. Louis Sports Commission. As a Hometown grocer, we love being able to support other local organizations to highlight our beautiful city of St. Louis... the food and drink doesn't hurt either. We didn't bring home the trophy for fastest Retail & Wholesale team (we're coming for you next year Anheuser-Busch) but we had a blast during "St. Louis's healthiest happy hour". #peoplefirst #hometownpride

Last Thursday we hosted Bring Your Child to Work Day at our Support Center- or what some of our colleagues call "Strategically Work from Home Day". We welcomed over 40 children to learn about our business through activities like taste testing, testing their product knowledge during Supermarket Sweep, online security and creating their own Save A Lot designed grocery bags. You may be seeing new designs at checkouts soon :) This has quickly become one of our favorite yearly events to host as it truly reflects our culture of family and a team of us. #BringYourChildtoWorkDay2024

Last week, we hosted 275 Retail Partners and guests at our 2024 Retail Partner Meeting & Food Show at the St. Charles Convention Center. The theme of this year’s conference was Winning Together. On day one of the conference, we welcomed 400 Supplier Partners to meet with Retail Partners to introduce new, existing and incremental sales items while building relationships. CEO Fred Boehler welcomed attendees with an address taking Retail Partners through the meaning and purpose of the Save A Lot brand as being value driven, with a focused assortment, and being a hometown grocer. Day two kicked off with members of the senior leadership team participating in a Q&A session with questions submitted by Retail Partners about the business as a whole and the overall strategy and goals for the coming years. The conference wrapped up with an awards ceremony that recognized Retail Partners for their performance in 2023 and a truckload auction offering volume-driven discounts on several of our favorite products. We are thankful for our amazing Team Members, Retail Partners and Suppliers who made this conference a success. We can’t wait to host again in 2025. 

Throughout the month of April, our Support Center collected gently used dresses or donations during our prom dress drive to be donated to the St. Charles City-County Library District. With everyone's generosity, we were able to donate over 45 dresses to our local community! All dresses were donated to the district to help teens celebrate a magical prom – free of financial worries. #hometownpride #hometownpartner #heart

We are proud to share that a member of the Save A Lot family, Ronald Vandervort who works out of our Plant City, FL Distribution Center, is participating in the Boston Marathon today! Ronald proudly wears Save A Lot logo apparel in all of the marathons he runs.   Good luck on your race, Ronald! The Save A Lot family is cheering you on from afar!

Happy National Pet Day! Whether they have paws, fins, feathers, or scales, today is the time to celebrate our beloved pets and the joy they bring into our lives.
