Did you know our Medicine Hat facility is the largest nitrogen manufacturing complex in Canada? Located in Alberta, it's an integral part of our operations, with an annual capacity of up to 1.5 million tons of nitrogen products for agricultural and industrial use. In 2023, the facility earned the International Fertilizer Association (IFA)'s Protect & Sustain certification, which indicates its fertilizer production abides by the highest levels of safety, security, and sustainability. Medicine Hat will play a key role in CF Industries' decarbonization goals, as it has been identified as a site for carbon capture and storage (CCS) implementation.

Continued progress on the construction of the carbon dioxide dehydration and compression unit at our Donaldsonville, Louisiana site with visible progress on the foundations for the compressor. Once complete, the dehydration and compression unit will enable the transportation and permanent sequestration of up to 2 million tons of carbon dioxide annually by our partner ExxonMobil Low Carbon Solutions – CO2 that would otherwise be emitted into the atmosphere. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to advance this project!

We sponsored a virtual booth at the Society of Women Engineers' Virtual Career Fair! On May 8, our recruiters connected with several talented, post-graduate women engineers to help them launch their careers. Through engaging conversations, we learned about their goals and matched their skills with exciting opportunities at CF. We're constantly building a diverse and highly qualified engineering team, and this event was invaluable in connecting with these impressive women. Thank you, SWE, for providing this fantastic platform! #SocietyOfWomenEngineers #LifeAtCF #CFIndustriesCareers #EngineeringCareers
