Yesterday, Bluewater Health hosted a Pride flag-raising event to mark the kick-off to #PrideMonth. We were thrilled to be joined by so many hospital staff, patients, families, and community members (and we can't forget the pets who displayed their pride). We know that Pride month is so much more than celebrating the colourful 2SLGBTQIA+ community - it's also about learning what it takes to be a good ally. On Monday, June 3, Bluewater Health will be hosting a Pride flag-raising event to kick-off #PrideMonth. Staff, patients, and community members are welcome to join us at 2:00 pm at the Russell Street entrance by the flag poles. A community flag-raising, hosted by Diversity Ed, is also taking place downtown Sarnia on Friday, May 31 - 1:00 pm at the Flag Plaza at the end of Lochiel St.

Earlier today, Bluewater Health was joined by MPP Bob Bailey, Petrolia Mayor Brad Loosley, and the Charlotte Eleanor Englehart Hospital (CEEH) Foundation to announce a significant step in the CEEH Capital Redevelopment project. The hospital recently received approval from the Ministry of Health to move to the next stage of the project, which includes long-awaited renovations to the Petrolia emergency department.
