Dozer is a gentle giant with a love for life, and sadly a chronic elbow dislocation that required amputation. In the care of the Ontario SPCA York Region Animal Centre, this Great Pyrenees learned to embrace life on three legs, never missing a stride. If you’ve been thinking of adopting, now is the purr-fect time to welcome an animal into your life! To help more animals find loving homes, the Ontario SPCA and Humane Society is reducing adoption fees by 20% from May 31 to June 1 at our animal centres across the province. Animals adopted from the Ontario SPCA are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and they go home with food from Royal Canin to help ensure a smooth transition into their new home. Visit https://lnkd.in/gZYKX6XW to learn more about our adoption fees and view our animals available for adoption!

Some special guests arrived today! We welcomed 28 cats and kittens at Ontario SPCA animal centres across the province from the Kenora Cat Shelter to find their fur-ever homes. In Northern Canada there are more adoptable animals than there are families to give them homes. The Ontario SPCA and its partners are working alongside communities to provide essential resources and manage animal populations through spay/neuter programs and re-homing initiatives. Visit ontariospca.ca/adopt to meet your new furry friend or to learn more about adopting! Can't adopt right now? You can still help! Please consider making a donation at ontariospca.ca/donate to support our mission and make this life-saving work possible.
