Colony 13, located inside Northgate Mall, is celebrating their 48th year in business. Family owned and operated by Susan, Rodney, and Jeff Bass, Colony 13 has evolved over the years from an early American Furniture store with gifts to a Gift Boutique that offers the most current and popular products that appeal to all ages. Colony 13 opened in 1976 at Brainerd Village during the Bicentennial year, which inspired the Basses to name their store and create their logo after the Betsy Ross flag. The store relocated to Northgate Mall in 1978 and has experienced growth and many changes. Forty-seven years later, Colony 13 has a loyal customer base that enjoys shopping and seeing what is new at their favorite boutique and gift store. The Bass team work hard to keep their store current and to offer Pandora Jewelry, Brighton, Swarovski, Vera Bradley, Kendra Scott, Nora Fleming, Life is Good, and approximately 100 other exciting product lines. Rodney, Susan, and Jeff thank their loyal customers for voting them Best of the Best 7 years in a row, and they look forward to serving their customers, family, and friends for many more years!
