Welcome to Lonsdale Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department

Welcome to the Lonsdale Fire & Rescue Department.  The Fire & Rescue Department serves the City of Lonsdale and Erin, Forest, Webster, & Wheatland Townships.  The current Fire Chief is Dave Pfluke.  The current roster is made up of 26 volunteers from the surrounding area.

The Fire Hall houses all the fire and rescue vehicles, in addition to an ambulance.  The hall was added onto in

The Ambulance Service is also a part of this department.  The City contracts with Northfield Ambulance to provide emergency health services to the residents of Lonsdale

The Fire Department has several fundraisers throughout the year.  In addition to sending out an annual solicitation letter seeking a per household donation, the department hosts a Steak Fry in May and a Firehouse Breakfast in December.  Also, each year the Department holds a raffle with prizes ranging from cash to TVs to a Polaris ATV.  Please support your local Fire Department by attending one or all of these charity functions.
