NOTICE OF BUDGET WORKSHOP
AVERY COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
WEDNESDAY, APRIL 24, 2024 @ 1:30 p.m.
The Avery County Board of Commissioners will hold a Budget Workshop on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at 1:30 p.m. in the Commissioners Board Room, Avery County Administrative Complex, 175 Linville Street, Newland, NC. The purpose of the Budget Workshop is to discuss and take any action necessary regarding the Fiscal Year Budget 2024/2025 and consider and take any action necessary regarding a Budget Amendment for a HVAC unit at the jail and a Budget Amendment regarding the agreement with Mitchell Animal Rescue.

The GREAT Grant was signed by both parties on 4/19/2023
the grant is with Spectrum/Charter Communications.
the grant is for $2,646,740.00 and will serve 222 household's and 12 businesses.
the CAB Grant paper work is beginning and we will update information as available.
