Residential Services
Our residential programs provide gender-specific, ASAM level 3.1 (previously known as medium/low intensity) co-occurring mental health and substance use residential treatment services. Each of our programs is tailored to equip our clients with individualized tools and skills necessary to overcome obstacles and gain empowerment in their personal journey toward independent, long-term recovery.Project Clean Start
Motherhood can be a difficult, yet extremely rewarding role for women in recovery. Project Clean Start is an aftercare program developed by the Hope House of Itasca County in an effort to ease the transition from a structured treatment environment to independent living for women struggling with substance use disorders.Admission
Hope House of Itasca County considers all referrals for admission without regard to race, ethnicity, religion, age, gender, or ability. Arrangements for admission are made in advance by contacting:

Potential clients are welcome to call us directly, or referrals may also be made by a physician, family member/friend, qualified chemical use assessors, treatment agencies, as well as any other providers working with the referring client. When we are unable to accept an applicant due, we will do our best to refer the applicant to other programs.
Requirements for admission include:
Minimum 18 years of age
Provide an alcohol and drug history (Rule 25/Comprehensive Chemical Use Assessment)
Active health insurance
Provide a mental health history (Diagnostic Assessment) *Preferred, but can be completed upon admission to Hope House or Pear Lake*
Provide a legal and criminal history
Complete an admission interview
Admission Process
Admissions are typically scheduled Monday through Thursday between 8:00 am and 2:00 pm, but we will happily consider admissions outside of this time frame on a case-by-case basis. Treatment costs vary depending on treatment duration and available sources of payment. Hope House staff will communicate with prospective clients and other applicable parties regarding payment options. Financial assistance may be available for those who are deemed eligible.
