The North Central Health Care Foundation was established in 2001 with the purpose of raising funds from private sources to support local healthcare needs. The NCHCF is a CRA Certified Non-Profit Charitable Organization that, today, is still powered entirely by hard-working volunteers. With your help, we have funded a new heliport station at the Melfort Hospital which has taken our community into a new realm of healthcare possibilities and support. Being equipped with this heliport allows our caring health care workers and the amazing people of our area to team up with the Shock Trauma Air Rescue Service (STARS) air ambulance to provide rapid and specialized emergency care and transportation for critically ill and injured patients. Because we work tirelessly and have caring supporters and volunteers like you, we have also funded a new CT Scanner and digital imaging systems, infant incubators, stretchers, stethoscopes, lifts, weigh scales, bed tables, furnishings and more!
