Whether you’re looking for a quick day trip, a fully escorted tour or a winter long stay we can get you there. And it doesn’t stop there – we have dozens of Canadian tours, American tours, International tours, and cruises where we take care of all of the details for you. You can also check out the new tours we’ve just added.
Most of our tours leave from Ottawa, but you can also leave from Toronto for some tours.
Masking Regulations
If you get sick on a tour with cold/flu symptoms, you may continue the tour but masking properly is mandatory until symptoms clear. If you refuse to mask, you will not be permitted to continue the tour and there will be no refund.
Tour Directors have ultimate authority over the tour and can make masking mandatory at their discretion (ie. If several people on tour are already/become sick).
If you do not adhere to our rules and regulations outlined above or implemented by a Tour Director, you will be asked to leave our tour. No refund/changes or future credits will be offered.
These regulations can change at any time. The Travac office staff or your Travac Tours Director will keep you informed.
Hotel Ratings
Please note that every country employs independent regulations for their hotel rating systems. The rating of each hotel is based on each country’s independent criteria, and are not rated by Travac Tours.
Star ratings are not based on your room or meals. Ratings, as per industry standards, are based on the amenities the hotel offers.
Canadian standards are higher than those of many other countries. For example, where a hotel rates a 4* at European standards, it could be considered a 3* by Canadian standards.
All hotel links on our website come directly from each hotel. Please give our office a call should you have questions regarding hotels and hotel ratings on a tour you are looking to book.
