I had a slight issue with my latching mechanism on one of my watches....nothing serious,  but it probably should have been a warranty issue with the manufacturer. Both Dan B. as well as Dan G. went above and beyond to fix this issue for me. I have had nothing but great experiences and will definitely be a returning customer!! I just had the best watch buying experience of my life and it was all thanks to Jeffrey Hess and Old Northeast Jewelers.  I cannot overstate how kind and knowledgeable Mr. Hess is and what an honest business owner he proved to be.

My father passed away and left me a few well branded vintage watches in various states of function.  I had no way of valuing the watches so I walked into Old Northeast Jewelers in a potentially vulnerable position.  Mr. Hess was very honest with me and offered what I considered to be a fair price which I accepted.  If this was the end of the story it would still be a 5 star review and I would be a very happy customer, but it was not the end of the story...

I have for some time been interested in Muhle Glashutte watches, in particular the S.A.R. rescue timer dive watch.  I discovered from Mr. Hess that his company is the North American distributor for Muhle Glashutte - what are the odds of that!  He spent quite a bit of his own time talking with me about Muhle Glashutte and the particular watch I was interested in.  He told me Muhle Glashutte is a 5th generation family-owned German watch maker specializing in high quality movements and beautiful watches.  He said the rescue timer series is very accurate, highly durable, shock resistant and has a waterproof rating of 3,300 feet -  basically my dream specs in a watch.

Muhle Glashutte and the S.A.R. watches are pretty much out of my reach financially, but because of Mr. Hess's honesty and kindness I was actually able to get my dream watch and I absolutely love it!
