Happy Arbor Day from Teton Regional Land Trust! Arbor Day is an annual tradition of planting trees that goes all the way back to Spain in 1594 and started in the US in Nebraska in 1872, the very same year that Yellowstone became a national park.
The Land Trust's stewardship team works with many of our landowners on habitat restoration – returning degraded or altered habitat to a healthy, functioning condition that supports priority wildlife species. This often includes planting native trees, bushes, and grasses.
