I grew up here.
I grew up here. It is a little dusty but there are some awesome people who live here. Taco Villa is the best fast food Mexican restaurant. The Jackalope is the town Mascot. He shows up in different places around town. Never been to Stonehenge? If not, Odessa has it! UTPB college off University and John BEn Shepard Parkway, has the replica. The Globe Theater was built like Shakespearean model. Even the building on site are of the era. There is a mall and ample shopping around town! Also Odessa is home to the Odessa Permian Panthers! I wasn't happy camper I didn't get a wake up call 6:30 a.m. on Saturday. I had a conference to attend. I asked for a non smoking room and they changed it. The room smelled of smoke. It's my goal to visit each city that bears my name. I'm glad I didn't allow people to dissuade from going there. I could actually see myself living there. The room was super large and very clean. I actually thought the hotel had just opened up because everything was no clean and new looking. I was surprised when I was told that the hotel had been opened for 2 years.
