Jewish Canadian leaders are active in all parts of society and have helped shape the diversity found within it. Canadian Jewish Heritage Month provides an opportunity to celebrate Jewish communities from coast to coast to coast for their valuable contributions in building a more open, diverse, and consciously more inclusive Canada for all.

Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS) is a recognized medical disability, where over 1.1 million people have a diagnosis, of which 419,000 (3.3%) are in Ontario alone (Statistics Canada 2020). It can develop in individuals of all ages, triggered by either a single significant exposure or repeated low-level exposures to common environmental chemicals. The flag of the Juvenis Festival will be flown in Confederation Park to mark the first day of the Juvenis Festival.
The Juvenis Festival is Kingston's Youth Arts Festival, one of only two youth arts festivals in all of Canada. The festival showcases the talent of Kingston youth of ages 18-30.

Childhood apraxia of speech (CAS) is a misunderstood and challenging speech disorder that affects nearly 1 in 1000 children. Without intensive and appropriate speech therapy, children with CAS will not learn to speak. Apraxia Awareness Day aims to unite these children and their friends and family with community members to be an unstoppable, united force advocating and raising awareness about CAS on May 14th.
