The Colleton County Board of Disabilities and Special Needs is now 1 of 41 local DSN boards statewide that provide services to:
- People with Intellectual Disability
- People with Autism
- Survivors of Head & Spinal Cord Injuries
- Other Related Disabilities
Services are divided into 2 broad areas:

- Employment
