Helicopter Pilot wanted:

Kachina Aviation is currently accepting resumes for an experienced Utility Fire Fighting Helicopter Pilots in Bell 205 or UH-1. Preferred positions require 2500 hours PIC Helicopter experience with emphasis on precision long line skills.

Pilot duties include but not limited to:

Vertical Reference (Long Line) operations
Cargo/Passenger Transport
Wildland Fire Suppression
Various other operations

Job Requirements:

Must have at least a valid FAA Commercial Rotorcraft Pilot Certificate
Current Class II Medical
2500 hours PIC (Turbine) Helicopters preferred; 1500 hours PIC Helicopter required
Recent Vertical Reference (Long Line)
100 hours Helicopter within the last 12 months
200 hours of Mountain Flight experience
NVG time preferred
Hoisting experience, a plus
Fire fighting tank time preferred
Must be able to be carded by the USFS or DOI for firefighting

Seasonal Fuel Truck Driver:

We're seeking a Seasonal Fuel truck Driver for Kachina Aviation and Heli-Jet Corp. Applicant must have a Class A CDL with Tank and Hazmat endorsement. Experience operating around wild-land fires is preferred.

Duties including driving 4000 gallon fuel truck and supporting fire fighting helicopters, keeping equipment clean and assisting in other aspects of the mission.
