“Health is not just how we care for our bodies, but also what we do to stay happy and grounded. Yoga provides that trifecta for me. I love being about to care for myself and have the great camaraderie of my teammates while I do it!” For Product Management Director, Holly Newman, maintaining mental health means taking care of mind, body, and spirit. Once a month, members of our employee group, The NETwork, meet outside our Atlanta office to do just that. #LifeAtATT

A naval ship is made up of numerous systems to accomplish its mission. The system that supports the engines, the radar system to track air threats, even the water system for firefighting. A sailor must have a basic understanding of all of it. Michael Czarnik, Navy Veteran, and President of our AT&T Veterans employee group, tells us that the same is true for finding success at AT&T. Find out how dedication and technical know-how play a part in our mission of connectivity. #LifeAtATT

"The opportunity to participate in the SkillBridge program is invaluable. It provides candidates with private-sector exposure and the ability to establish a professional network." Going from the military to a civilian career can be a challenge. The change in culture and expectations makes it hard to understand how military skills apply to a corporate career. The SkillBridge Fellowship Program provides an on-ramp to ease the transition. Hear from team members like US Navy Veteran Sean Dulaney, who are thriving in their civilian careers after SkillBridge. https://lnkd.in/eXCM98bN #LifeAtATT

When disaster strikes, our Network Disaster Recovery Support Team is ready to spring into action. Made up of volunteers, these are team members from across #LifeAtATT who step away from their normal roles to help restore connectivity. They recently held a training session in Texas with Travis Profitt, National Director for Network Disaster Recovery, who told us all about it: “The equipment and processes we use for disaster response is always evolving. Training gives us the opportunity to learn new skills and practice established ones in a controlled environment. It also gives us a chance to train new members to the team. In this session, we trained on various deployable tools to restore service and various emergency response assets. We are often deployed to areas that have minimal or no infrastructure support – like power, food, and water. We bring our own supplies and equipment in so we can be self-sufficient and do our work without placing additional strains on the area. Our support equipment includes bunk and shower trailers, power and emergency communications equipment, and a field kitchen trailer with members of the team trained and certified to prepare meals.”
