The Division of Quality Assurance recently completed their annual state survey at Cedar Crest Retirement Community. The result of the health survey was that Cedar Crest had no deficiencies. The average number of health citations in the state of Wisconsin is currently over seven. The survey team mentioned how beautiful and clean the kitchen is and they commented how happy residents and families are with the nursing care at Cedar Crest. The surveyors complimented the team on how everyone really gets along and works together.

Construction continues on our Clubhouse, the newest addition to our Cottages at Cedar Crest Retirement Community. At the Clubhouse, residents will have exclusive access to the fitness room, a pub, a gathering room, and indoor/outdoor seating along the Rock River. Projected completion date is March 2024. It really gets to the heart of why Cedar Crest was chosen as the best nursing home and assisted living in the greater Janesville area. "I have been in healthcare since 1993. Many years as a CNA, then onto nursing. I have worked in many different nursing homes amongst those years and can honestly say I am proud to work at Cedar Crest! It is by far the BEST facility I have ever worked at. The care is excellent and management caring about the residents above profit is impressive. As a business, I know both resident care and money have to both be considered. Without money, there is no facility, and thus, no caring for residents.
