Good relationships are critical to a happy work life. Good work relationships bring work-life balance. Dr. Chip, as he's known to most, and Registered Nurse Paulii Temple have developed something pretty special in their 25 years working together! Employees all around CentraCare enjoy relationships like these.

Katie is one of a kind! It's also true that there are many just like her at CentraCare; people willing to give so much in service to others. One of the best things about working here, besides getting the opportunity to improve lives, is getting to work with one-of-a-kind people- just like Katie. See her story of giving here. #donatelife

We had another career exploration event! Our imaging open house, now an annual event, has the purpose of introducing teens to careers in medical imaging. Imaging professionals hosted stations in CT, Fluoroscopy, Mammography, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Vascular Imaging, X-Ray, and more. St Cloud Technical and Community College, St. Cloud State University, and St. Cloud Hospital School of Diagnostic Imaging had booths to help students and parents understand degree requirements and education pathways to a career in Radiologic Technology. We had cookies and lemonade but the real treat was the type and amount of information we were able to share with these several-dozen young people to help them make informed career decisions.

Meet Aveen. He's a Nursing Assistant at St. Cloud Hospital and nursing student at St. Cloud State University. He sees care as a verb; something to do, not just feel.

That's it. That's the post. #nurses

We had fun! CentraCare hosted the Youth of Color Technical Healthcare Forum this week. Several dozen central Minnesota high school students learned about careers in emergency medical services, endoscopy, laboratory, imaging and respiratory therapy. They performed intubations, removed polyps, put "patients" on stretchers and more! The boy on the stretcher will be OK. 😆 St. Cloud Area School District 742 Greater St. Cloud Development Corporation
