Today we are recognizing our Colorado DSP of the Year nominee, Janyce Dixon. Janyce is a host home provider and has been with Dungarvin for more than 10 years! She continues to warmly welcome everyone into her home, regardless of circumstance or need. Janyce brings a solutions-centered approach to her services, exhibited by an individual she's supported for the last eight years. Originally, he struggled with problem behaviors, but Janyce and he have worked together to form a bond unlike any other. Brittany Gutierrez is a striking young woman. Identifying as "Mother/Survivor/Protector," she has Mexican American and Native American roots. In 2021, she gave birth to her first child, a son named Gabriel Bejarano, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Unfortunately, he was born two months premature, weighing only three pounds, and experienced several developmental delays. In the hospital, Brittany learned about early intervention services through Dungarvin’s Family, Infant and Toddler (FIT) Program. We look forward to sharing her inspiring story, along with the caring expertise of our Dungarvin New Mexico team. Stay tuned for link to our blog! #dungarvin #dungarvinway #dungarvincareers #newmexico
