Groundbreaking E-waste Recycling Partnership! BREAKING NEWS: Goodwill Keystone Area and Reworld today announced they are offering residents across 22 central and southeastern Pennsylvania counties with the option to drop-off their old electronics items – including TVS – for FREE. This initiative responds to a critical need in our region, expanding electronic recycling options under the PA Covered Device Recycling Act 108. Many counties lack comprehensive e-waste recycling services, making it challenging for residents especially when trying to recycle items like TVs and computer monitors. With 42 store and donation centers across the 22 counties where Goodwill Keystone operates, we're making it easier than ever to recycle a wide variety of electronics – from televisions and computers to other household electronics, including mobile devices, gaming systems, telephones, toasters, vacuums and much more. Our goal? To collect half a million pounds of electronic waste within the first year! Reworld will responsibly recycle any electronics that can't be sold in our stores, ensuring compliance with state and international standards for e-waste management. But that's not all! By donating your gently used items alongside your electronics, you're supporting Goodwill Keystone’s mission to advance sustainability in our communities.
