Board Member Profile: Vice President Stan Dafoe Stan joined the board in 2018 and has held the positions of Secretary and Vice-President. He is a retired Professional Engineer (Electrical) with over 35 years of experience with Ontario Hydro and Hydro One. Most of his career involved working in customer service and Key Account management, with a brief foray into energy management. In these positions Stan developed skills including project management, negotiating, problem solving, customer service, financial and technical assessments, budgeting, and customer service. In these roles he negotiated and completed several multi-million-dollar projects with large customers across Ontario. On the personal side, Stan is married with three children and six grandchildren. He has lived in the Quinte area all his life and still enjoys golf, hockey, playing guitar, and travelling. If you happen to see him at the Stan Klemencic Care Centre, please say hi!

Hospice Quinte is holding a walking group for anyone who is working through the death of someone close to them. It will be every Thursday starting in May from 10:00am - 12:00pm. Come out and meet with others who are also grieving and stay active at the same time!
