42 Northern cats from Second Chance Pet Network in Dryden arrived at Ontario SPCA centres across the province today after a 1,600-kilometre journey to find homes. On our way up to pick up these feline friends, we delivered 960 lbs. of donated cat food to support animals in the North. Limited access to wellness services has led to increased animal populations in Northern Canada. The Ontario SPCA and its partners work alongside communities to provide essential resources and manage populations through spay/neuter and re-homing initiatives.
