What a fascinating article! Emily Nash, a Canadian 🍁 teenager, is giving the gift of hope in dementia research with her Highly Superior Autobiographical Memory (HSAM). This rare ability allows Emily to recall every day of her life in vivid detail, offering researchers a unique opportunity to study memory in ways previously unimagined.  This research could bring forth innovative care strategies greatly benefiting those facing memory challenges. Thirteen of Optima Living’s thirty-nine residences support the memory care needs of seniors in Western Canada. Optima Living’s Senior Leadership Team attended the UCP Central Alberta Leaders’ Dinner on March 28th.
