Happy National Volunteer Week! At Overture Center, we rely on over 400 volunteers to help us ensure that everyone who comes through our doors has an extraordinary experience. Our volunteers are the people our guests remember when they think of Overture. Their words and actions help shape the overall image of our organization. We simply couldn’t operate without the hundreds of passionate individuals who donate their time and talents each year. THANK YOU to all of our wonderful volunteers! We are so grateful for your dedication to the arts in our community.

All good things must come to an end✈️ Although we are sad to see the Capitol Theater Delta Safety video retired, we are grateful to have been part of such a unique project. Thanks for sharing this behind the scenes look Drake Springer and to the entire Delta Air Lines team for putting so much thought and attention to detail into the video.
Tomorrow is March 1, which might not mean much to most people...but all around the world if you're on a Delta flight, it means you'll see our newest Safety Video (you may have already as it's been making its way around the fleet the last few days). As the theater concept that has been onboard for the last 8 months makes way for a new one we shot in Costa Rica, I wanted to reflect on what it took to bring us to this new era. A year ago, this incredible Window Seat team took a chance and upped the ante on the way we present this important information on our flights. We took the Safety Video production off the plane and brought it in to a new environment for our customers. What followed 6+ months of careful planning and pre-production was a weeklong shoot in Madison, Wisconsin to bring the new concept to life. Here is just a small glimpse behind the scenes of the lengths this team went to for that video. I'm so proud of everyone on the team that worked tirelessly to bring it to life -- and a special shoutout to my wife, Mattie Duppler for being the creative director and finding the Capitol Theater at the Overture Center for the Arts in her old University of Wisconsin-Madison stomping grounds. It was the perfect location for us to create this piece! Talk about an impressive resume! Mike Allison has been a dedicated theater technician at Overture since 2016. Before joining our team, he spent decades touring with major artists including The Rolling Stones, Bon Jovi, Prince and yes - even Beyoncé. Check out our blog to hear about Mike's experience touring with these big names and what he loves about now working at Overture >> https://lnkd.in/gevrDKsN
