Thank you, Aspira Villa Da Vinci, Aspira Lynde Creek Gardens, Aspira Traditions of Durham, Aspira Bearbrook, Langstaff Square Community, Weston Terrace Community and Villa Santa Maria Community. 7 homes welcomed Nitin Jain and special guests to recognize the wonderful residents and team members who make Sienna homes the best places to live and work. Our Sparkle winners are residents who brighten every day through their contributions. They create a strong sense of community within their home by encouraging and supporting their fellow residents to participate in activities and spearheading new programs that promote social engagement. We also had the opportunity to present CEO Spot Awards to team members who go above and beyond to live Sienna’s purpose – cultivating happiness in daily life and values: Act positively, Be Accountable, Create Community, and Demonstrate Caring. Our award winners all have one thing in common – their number one motivation is the residents they care for and serve. This is why we will continue to support team members so they can deliver exceptional resident experiences. Thank you to everyone who made these visits so meaningful!

The Sienna for Seniors Foundation supports charitable organizations that create moments of happiness for Canadian seniors. The Foundation has partnered with Concerts in Care to bring world-class musicians to perform for seniors in retirement and long-term care homes. Recently, residents at Weston Terrace Community had the privilege of experiencing a captivating performance by a talented jazz trio. It was a delightful event that brought joy, music, and a sense of togetherness to residents and team members. We believe in music's uplifting power and are proud to support Concerts in Care in their mission to foster meaningful community connections. Through Sienna's Foundation, a wide-range of charities receive support, including seniors' programs at local community centers, Meals on Wheels, and Second Harvest.

🎬 What a spectacular celebration of Canadian cinema we had for National Canadian Film Day, presented by REEL CANADA! Thanks to our outstanding teams, thousands of residents across Sienna and Aspira communities took part in a uniquely Canadian experience. Rolling out the red carpet and setting up festive viewing parties, our teams gave residents the VIP treatment with delicious snacks and fun photo ops, making it a memorable day. The joy and laughter shared among residents as they enjoyed the best of Canadian films was truly heartwarming. #canfilmday #seniorliving #funatwork

It’s National Volunteer Week! Thank you to all the volunteers at Sienna Senior Living. We are fortunate to have many volunteers bring extra joy into the lives of our residents every day. Whether through social visits, leading activities, or simply lending an ear, their actions make a difference. Ellen is just one of the dedicated individuals who gives her time, energy, and heart to residents at Case Manor Community in Bobcaygeon, Ontario. Her knitting club brings residents together while they enjoy a few laughs and even make a scarf or two. We appreciate everything our volunteers do! Plus, we couldn’t run our volunteer programs without the support of our teams! April 9th is the 100th day of the year, and we're celebrating the incredible centenarians at Aspira Retirement Living! These extraordinary individuals have beautiful stories of family and friends, careers and travel, overcoming adversity and making the most of everything life offers them. Their lives are nothing short of inspiring. Through the eyes of Mille, Dr. Bob, and Gwen, we are reminded of the beauty of life, the lessons it teaches, and the legacy we build every day. Sienna's Women Executives Pave the Way for Success We are proud to announce that Sienna has been recognized on The Globe and Mail’s 2024 Report on Business Women Lead Here list. For the 3rd consecutive year, we have been identified for best-in-class executive gender diversity in corporate Canada. This initiative highlights businesses that have made organizational progress related to executive gender parity. Sienna is one of the 96 Canadian companies, out of 500 analyzed by Report on Business magazine, to achieve Women Lead Here benchmark. With 50% of senior executive positions held by women, Sienna exceeds the list’s overall average of 44.6%. Women team members make up the majority of Sienna’s total workforce, which is reflective of the sector. The high percentage of our female workforce is also reflected in senior leadership positions with approximately 87% of our leaders identifying as women. We will continue to embrace the value that diverse perspectives bring to Sienna and the care we provide to residents. Jennifer Anderson Nancy A. Webb Olga Giovanniello M.Ed, C.Dir. Teresa Fritsch
