Many thanks to Renfro Brands for hosting a visit by Jin Su, myself, and my first year design students at Consumer, Apparel, & Retail Studies Department at UNCG yesterday in the Mt. Airy facility!! It was great seeing Corena Norris and CARS alumna Dawn Beechner-Varnier there in addition to meeting Jane Dowell and Chris Sparks. We all enjoyed learning about innovations in fibers and yarns - socks are not as simple as one might think 🙂
