Our Orlando Division recently joined forces with Taylor Morrison Home Funding and our vendor partners to support the Best Buddies Friendship Walk at Lake Eola. Over 30 team members signed up to walk—raising $4,790 in support of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.  We are so proud of this team for championing social inclusion within the community. ❤️ #ThisisTMLiving

In honor of Mother’s Day, we’re featuring a mother-daughter duo who work in our Sarasota Division. Sr. Warranty Coordinator Sandy Burns and her daughter, Community Starts Lead Sara Burns, both live in Taylor Morrison’s Artisan Lakes community, three blocks away from each other. At work, the Burns’ sit just a cubicle apart in the division office and often get together for lunch. “I feel so lucky to have Sara a few feet away every day. It’s so special that she works for TM.” On being a mom, Sandy shared, “It’s the best thing that ever happened to me. You don’t know that kind of love until you become a mother. This national companywide contest rigorously evaluates divisions on key metrics including quality, safety, team member experience, customer experience, and more, and the team has proven themselves unbeatable in every aspect. Our fruitful Spring Selling Season was on full display this week when we reported our financial results. In the first quarter, our team delivered a strong start to the year, including better-than-expected sales activity. Net sales orders were up an impressive 56% quarter-over-quarter, and 29% year-over-year. This incredible first quarter momentum has teed us up for an improved business outlook, as we now expect to deliver approximately 12,500 homes this year. Earlier this month, we celebrated our strongest performers in Sales and Financial Services (ACES), Construction (ROCKSTARS) and Warranty (HEROs) at our National Awards Ceremony. Despite volatile market conditions and consumer skepticism last year, our Community Sales Managers found a way to sell. Through it all, and alongside our Financial Services teams, they offered peace of mind and eased customers into homeownership, leveraging our tools, tapping into their creative sides and leading with empathy.
