What an incredible evening at Boston Spirit Magazine's 16th Annual LGBT Executive Networking Night! The Northbridge team had a fantastic time connecting, engaging in meaningful conversations, and forging new friendships. It was a pleasure to meet the teams from Seasons Four and Anchor 2 Anchor. We were also honored to hear from Chasten Buttigieg, a prominent advocate and husband of former presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg. Chasten's inspiring message, "You belong. You are loved. You are welcome here," resonates deeply with our values at Northbridge. The team at our community, Granite Hill Estates, were the DunKINGS of our March Sales Madness challenge and scored breakfast delivered by owners, Jim Coughlin and Wendy Nowokunski! They went all out for the breakfast delivery with inspiration from New England favorites, Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, and Tom Brady. Northbridge is celebrating 20 years serving seniors and their families in New England. Jim and Wendy know that our associates are a big part of what makes Northbridge so special. It is with great excitement that we can announce our very own George A. Silvia III is a 2024 Argentum Hero Award Winner! Chosen from many outstanding nominees, George shines as a leading example of person-centered care and through his personalized engagement programs. He harnesses the theme of history to help guide his creation of programs. His enlightening and perceptive Pride Presentation is now shared among all our communities to create a more inclusive environment at Northbridge, sparking conversations between residents, associates and families, deepening bonds. George’s already award-winning program Hometown History allows new residents to feel welcome from the start, inviting residents to bring a piece of themselves to the community and their peers, sparking connections and creating fast friendships. George’s own history is wrapped up in senior living; visiting his mother Kelly McCarthy (Northbrige’s VP of Resident Engagement and Memory Care Services) at work as a child, to being extremely close to his grandparents, to his very first job working in Geri Psych in college. We are so proud to have George as an integral member of our team and family. Our founder Jim Coughlin discusses capturing additional care revenue by increasing transparency between families and operational care staff. As a resident's care needs evolve we're using proprietary training to teach associates to capture this information. A few ladies from the Northbridge4All Team recently delivered our Kindness Week food pantry donations to the People Helping People, Inc. - Burlington MA Food Pantry! Thank you to all that donated to this act of kindness, giving a helping hand to many residents of Burlington! We received a tour of the pantry operations and information about how the program serves the residents of Burlington. Whether it's a smile, a helping hand, or a thoughtful gesture, every act of kindness creates a ripple of compassion that touches hearts and brightens days!
