May 5th is #reddressday and marks the National Day of Awareness and Action for Missing and Murdered Indigenous women, girls, and Two-Spirit individuals. Today, we pause to remember and honour the lives of the missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls, two-spirit, and gender-diverse people in Canada. Today is a day to listen, to learn, to mourn, and join hands in addressing the deep-rooted issues contributing to this crisis. Together, we can strive for justice, healing, and a future where every life is valued and protected. #MMIWG2S #MMIWGActionNow #NoMoreStolenSisters #AwarenessMatters #missingandmurderedindigenouswomen

About us
Since 1941, our United Way has worked to strengthen lives by bringing together business, labour, individuals, government, and funders – to raise funds in support of a network of social service and health agencies. We recognize that we, as a community, continue to face complex social challenges. To address these challenges, United Way needs to tackle the root causes, needs to understand social trends and needs to identify partners who will help with what are often very complex issues.
