Last night, we had the privilege of introducing Variety BC to a new group at the Canguard Mortgage Investment Corp. Investor Appreciation Event. We want to share a big thank you to the Canguard team for this opportunity and their support - it was a wonderful evening! As Morly's mom highlights, providing access to autism assessments is one way Variety donors transform lives. This access is a critical step for autistic children to receive the tools they need to thrive. This World Autism Awareness Day we celebrate every child like Morly who is seen and discovering their unique potential, and the community who stands with them.

Last month, our caring community came together for Show of Hearts and raised over $2.5 million to provide relief to over 890 BC kids who urgently need our help! Thank you for showing families that they are not alone, that we are there when they need us the most. Special thanks to all our show contributors and partners: our Variety kids and families, our artists (thank you David!), Global BC team, production teams (especially Scott & Kim), sponsors, and volunteers for their time, energy, and dedication to help raise funds for families in need. You inspire us all.

On Saturday, we hosted an intimate event, Curtain Call: Inside the Show of Hearts, for some of our supporters, families, sponsors, staff and Variety Board members to kick-off Show of Hearts weekend. It was an incredibly special evening with Kristi Gordon from Global BC emceeing, inspiring remarks from Variety family Sharon and Isaac, as well as an incredible performance by The Reklaws. We were reminded of the value of bringing this caring community together so everyone can celebrate the role they play in helping BC families in need. Special thanks to Quay North Urban Development, French Door Estate Winery and Nook for adding so much to this experience.

Variety ambassador, Telethon host AND all around great guy, Isaac has a powerful message, based on his experience, on why we need to end bullying. His strength and confidence is so inspiring, which Variety #BC donors contributed to by funding access to life-changing counselling and therapies. #PinkShirtDay
