Pig farmers have been incorporating sustainable practices for decades. Without proper conservation of natural resources, pig farmers would not be able to pass their livelihood down from generation to generation. Farmers are taking active steps to ensure the continuity of our earth's natural resources. Happy Earth Day!

Welcome to the Wakefield Pork Family Tiffany! Tiffany recently started with Wakefield Pork as the Logistics Coordinator! Tiffany is from Lafayette, MN. She enjoys camping, playing softball, bowling and archery/bow hunting. Tiffany came to Wakefield because she likes working for a local family owned company. She worked part-time during school in one of our barns and has always said that working for Wakefield was one of her favorite jobs. Tiffany is glad to be back with Wakefield in a full time position. Welcome Tiffany!

I was able to spend two days this week with Wakefield Pork, Inc. in Worthington and New Ulm. An incredible company of people that have the greatest Midwest values. The message was clear, find a way to attack your day to day operation and improve how you work. WPI is an industry leader and believes families across the world should have access to affordable high quality protein. Big thanks to Lincoln Langhorst and the entire team for having me. The work gloves will get put to good use this spring.

This week we had the opportunity to bring our contract growers together. We spent three days gathering, catching up, updating everyone about our company and industry progress and sharing a meal together. Special thanks to Chad Greenway for sharing his inspiring message to our growers. Thank you to all our producers that have gone above and beyond for us over the years! We are so grateful for all that, you do! 🐷
