  • Dear William Raveis Family, Our groundbreaking education, coaching, and training program is the best in the business! As promised, Tom Ferry International is running a six-week coaching series, starting Thursday at 11a.m., when Kristi Jencks (TF) will be coaching on buyer consultations and signing buyer broker agreements. This high-level webinar is designed to help our agents convey value within the new Buyer Broker landscape. Remember, Connecticut has been a Buyer Broker state since 1990, but there are a few changes that you need to be aware of. Our comprehensive training for the next 10-12 weeks includes: 1. Tom Ferry and team will share industry insights with us each week, now thru May 16. 2. April is the month to get back into the office and use Tom's slides and videos (on Raveis365) for role-playing and collaboration with your sales managers and colleagues. These conversations can help refine your value-added services for both Buyers and Sellers. As a luxury brand for 50 years, we have all products and services under one roof. For example, our mortgage company can pre-approve mortgages for buyers and sellers in-house while our insurance agency provides them with the most competitive rates in the industry.   • Dear William Raveis Family, The Event '24 was a huge success! It was wonderful to see everyone so happy, full of energy, and excited to celebrate and network with friends both old and new. Our 50th Awards & Celebration gathered nearly 1500 sales associates, managers, and employees including our former leadership team of Carolyn Deal, Mary Ann Evick, Joanne Paone, Terry Russo along with honored guests from LeadingRE, The Realty Alliance, and CT Realtors. Likewise, agents from Florida and South Carolina met and mingled with Raveis colleagues from Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island, and Vermont. Everyone experienced firsthand our fun 360 Photo Booth, shopped Raveis merchandise, and listened to fabulous music by Mike DelGuidice and the Decadia Band. Raveis The Musical on Wednesday evening was a blast from the past with costumes and songs for every decade, along with an incredible solo performance by Stephanie Harnisch...very special. Convention activities featured motivational speaker Amy Jo Martin, and Tom Ferry gave our group an insightful perspective on Buyer Broker at General Session. Our CHP training with mortgage and insurance was well attended as were all our Educational Breakout Sessions led by Dan Prud'homme, Byron Lazine, Christa Ross, Matthew Ferrara, and Chris Raveis. I expect participants came away with a lot of creative ideas and tips for securing business this year. At William Raveis, we are committed to coaching our sales associates through every challenge and market situation. Building on this momentum, our leadership team is currently reviewing proposals from Tom Ferry International, T3 Sixty, Matthew Ferrara and others. NEXT WEEK is our rollout for specific training to help agents with value propositions for both the Buyer side and the Listing side.   • Dear William Raveis Family, We recently hosted our Florida Season Kickoff Brunch. Everyone had a fabulous time networking, snapping group photos, and reconnecting with old friends and new. Matt and Molly Lane greeted agents while Carrie Lademan, our Senior Regional SVP, congratulated colleagues achieving Club level status, and we applauded our impressive William Raveis Billionaire Club agents. We were thrilled to hold this event at the Naples Botanical Garden, which we have supported for over 5 years. We discussed the outlook for the Florida end of year 2023 marketplace and expectations for 2024. Likewise, we had a lively conversation on the precarious financial position many of our competitors are in and how this is the "age of golden opportunity" for us here at William Raveis. With over 150 sales associates, managers, and staff gathered from the Naples, Bonita Springs, and Marco Island offices, there was a lot of enthusiasm as we enter a busy selling season. Time to seize the day! Business referral opportunities abound, from our newest colleagues in Amherst and Northampton (MA), in Hilton Head Island and Bluffton (SC) as well as in our extended luxury networks. One great example is Frank Sajtar, who recently closed Leading Real Estate Companies of the World's second-highest outgoing referral in Q2 2023 with our partner in Montana. Other great news! We received over 200 requests for agent branding of our new FREE Inman Award video, announced in last week's newsletter.   • Dear William Raveis Family, Candy and I returned to sunny Naples on October 6, and it has been nonstop ever since. I visited our beautiful Jupiter Island branch, and the next day, we had our Regional Meeting with over 150 agents from Boca Raton, Hobe Sound, Jupiter Island, Palm Beach, and North Palm Beach. Our South Florida team is energized and ready for the busy selling season ahead! We had a great discussion on the marketplace, my vision for the company, and I shared a few thoughts about our Wall Street competition. Matt & Molly Lane, Herb Mehlman, Melissa Cohn, Evelio Miranda, Bradley Bryant, and our marketing & administrative staff were on hand to thank Deb Deam for her dedication to our growing Raveis family, to welcome Lisa Gavin to the team, and to congratulate Nancy Cardone as she steps into her new role as Regional VP for South Florida.
