Interpretation of the imaging and often time’s provision of treatment for pain, is the calling of our Fellowship trained, Board Certified Radiologists who come from impressive backgrounds representing all subspecialties. They work with referring physicians, their patients and local insurance carriers to establish the least invasive and most medically appropriate procedures. A NEW study by the Cancer Intervention and Surveillance Modeling Network (CISNET) confirms benefits of annual screening mammograms for women ages 40-79. The study offers the most current, comprehensive data analysis to look at four different screening cohorts, comparing benefit/risk outcomes for women who started annual screening mammography age 40 vs those who started screening later at age 50 and/or screened only every other year.
