Steven Thomas Foy founded S. Thomas Estate Sales in 2010. His mission was to provide central Minnesota with a professional and ethical estate liquidation company. He started with an experienced staff who had previously conducted estate liquidations in Duluth, MN for 30 years.

Steve has always used the phrase “If you are going to do it, do it right.” This simple phrase is the foundation for how S. Thomas and Associates operate. Our employees pride themselves in presentation, professionalism and customer service. They make the extra effort in each step of the sale to ensure that their clients and customers are satisfied from beginning to end.

S. Thomas and Associates primary company policy is to respect the client and property involved. All of the employees have the highest level of respect for our client’s household and property. Our History

Steve and Julie Foy have been residents of Brainerd for 35 years. Steve was manager of Stereo One and WJJY for 18 years. Julie spent 20 years in the hospitality industry. In 1998 they purchased a local produce wholesale/retail company. During the 10 years of ownership they expanded the company to wholesaling to over 100 restaurants. In 2000 they started a retail company, the Wild Bird Store; which catered to local bird enthusiasts. In 2008 they sold the companies; both are still in operation today.

Since the founding of S. Thomas Estate Sales, the company has conducted over 100 estate liquidations and two business liquidations including Beautiful Antiques in Pequot Lakes, MN. S. Thomas and Associates is a licensed and bonded estate sale company. They have up to 15 experienced employees available for large scale liquidations.

In 2012 they opened a subsidiary company; Design Consign, a 6,500 square foot retail showroom for consignment antiques, fine furniture and home décor. Design Consign works close with S. Thomas & Associates to give estate sale clients the option of consigning remaining items after their estate liquidation.

We understand that downsizing or having an estate sale for a loved one may be difficult and overwhelming. S. Thomas and Associates will provide their experience and expertise to ensure that your estate liquidation is conducted properly and professionally and the results are successful.

    I was aware of S. Thomas and Associates and Design Consign when they opened their business in Brainerd and I had attended some of their sales. I knew from being in the resale business that they did a good job and had a good reputation.

They did it all, set up tables, priced thousands of items, set up good looking displays, and then for two days cashiered for thousands of purchasers.
