TOWN OF LENOX NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BOARD OF SELECTMEN Notice is hereby given that a hearing will be held by the Board of Selectmen in their capacity as Licensing Board on an application for a new annual all alcoholic Restaurant license which has been filed with the Local Licensing Board by Yao Restaurant Inc., d/b/a Yao Asian Fusion Cuisine, Xiao Xia Weng, Manager, for premises located at 9 Franklin Street, Lenox and consisting of a the restaurant that will occupy the first floor of a wood frame building. The front entrance is on Franklin Street and provides direct access to the dining room. The dining area will have seating for 45, along with a 10 seat sushi bar and a 6 seat bar. Dining and drinks will be available at the bar seats. There is a second egress in the rear of the building which will serve as an employee entrance/exit and emergency exit for customers. The second floor of the building is currently residential. The Board will act on said application on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. in the Selectmen's Meeting Room, Town Hall Building, Lenox, MA.
