seeks Assistant Grower. Will monitor greenhouse temperature, humidity and water chemistry. Mixes fertilizer and applies to plants per schedule. Distributes biologic controls. Tracks invasive pests in greenhouse and keeps detailed records. Must adhere to GMP and HACCP guidelines and be available for on-call capacity. Work environment is wet, humid, hot and cold storage environments. Works near loud, mechanical moving parts and equipment. Will climb, kneel, crawl and reach while working. Requires Master's Degree in Horticulture or Agriculture plus one year experience as Assistant Grower or Grower. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience and Certified Private Pesticide Application Permit from PA.
