Tower Crane Technician (Electrician)
We are a tower crane rental company that has been in business for over 40 years looking for a Tower Crane Technician (Electrician) to join our team.
Job Duties:
- General maintenance and electrical repairs to our fleet of tower cranes. (Some mechanical repairs and maintenance may also be required.)
- You would also become a part of our team of tower crane technicians, assisting in tower crane erections, dismantles, and climbs.
- Commissioning and decommissioning of the cranes.
- Perform service calls, drive our service truck to various jobsites throughout the lower mainland, troubleshoot and resolve crane issues.
- Provide customer service to our clients and instruct crane operators in basic maintenance and functionality of our tower cranes.
Position qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years' relevant experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Certification is an asset, but not a requirement
- Electrical and/or mechanical aptitude
- Cannot be afraid of heights
- Can work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Punctual and reliable
- Work effectively with minimal supervision
- A willingness to learn new skills
- Strong trouble shooting abilities
- The capacity to keep organized, accurate maintenance records
- Must have a valid driver's license
What we offer:
- Starting wage of $42.73/hour
- A permanent position, working Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week (some overtime and weekend work required)
