Concrete Finisher Helper Wanted!
DCL Constructors Inc. is hiring a Concrete Finisher Helper as soon as possible
Location of work: Various work sites within the city of Calgary, Alberta
Wage: $29.00/ hr.
Terms of Employment: Permanent and full time
Job Duties:
- Grinding, patching, chipping, polishing and sacking surfaces after the concrete is filled
- Fill hollows and remove high spots to smooth freshly poured concrete
- Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
- Apply hardening and sealing compounds to cure surface of concrete
- Waterproof, damp-proof and restore concrete surfaces
- Repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of floors, walls, roads, and other concrete structures.
Skills Requirements
- Experience with using hand tools such as saws, drills, jackhammer, grinder, and power tools
- 1 year of work experience as concrete finisher helper
- High school level of education
- Proficiency in English
