Community Wellness Worker

The Tree of Peace Friendship Centre is seeking 3 Community Wellness Workers to work full-time. the successful applicant must have sound knowledge in the addictions field and possess excellent administration/organizational skills, as well as awareness and understanding of the historical context of alcohol & drug abuse prevention and treatment in a First Nations community. She/he must also be able to communicate effectively both orally, writing and presentations. She/he must be living a healthy lifestyle and be alcohol and drug free for a minimum of two years. Certification as an Alcohol and Drug Counsellor would be viewed as an asset. A Criminal Record Check is required.
