Program Coordinator

The Program Coordinator for the Medix College Living Classroom Personal Support Worker program offered in partnership with Extendicare Timmins and Extendicare Kirkland Lake is responsible for modeling the behavior that will allow each student enrolling in this hybrid program to fulfill their academic potential. In addition to being the lead instructor for the program the Program Coordinator will serve as the operational liaison with Living Classroom locations at Extendicare Kirkland Lake and Extendicare Timmins, be responsible for overseeing externship placements and liaise with placement supervisors at both locations, and coordinate and participate in local/regional promotional and recruitment events and activities. The position will require frequent travel between Timmins and Kirkland Lake, as well as other surrounding communities as needed. Must be a Registered Nurse with no practice restrictions, registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
